Man carrying stuffed doll struck by truck while crossing intersection

A man who was carrying a stuffed doll was hospitalized early Friday after he was struck by a pickup truck while crossing an intersection, Tulsa police said.

A man who was carrying a stuffed doll was hospitalized early Friday after he was struck by a pickup truck while crossing an intersection, Tulsa police said. 

The auto-pedestrian collision happened about 6 a.m. in the 8100 block of South Sheridan Road, police said. 

Officers at the scene said a man attempting to cross the intersection was struck by a eastbound Ford F-150 and was thrown several feet before landing on a nearby sidewalk.
