A man accused in a murder-for-hire plot that left a Midwest City woman and her unborn child dead may be charged with assault after an incident at the Oklahoma County jail, according to court records.

Brodric Lontae Glover, 20, is one of four people charged in the slaying of Jessica Lynn Brown, 23, who was six months pregnant. He is in the Oklahoma County jail awaiting trial on that charge.

A probable cause affidavit filed this week in Oklahoma County District Court implicated Glover and Cory Dewayne Dubose, 35, in the assault of another inmate at the jail, Lonnie Leon Easter, 32.

Easter is in the jail after being convicted on drug charges. Dubose is in jail awaiting trial in a separate drug case.

The affidavit, written by a sheriff's deputy, said Easter was taken Oct. 23 to the OU Medical Center with a head injury after he was assaulted at the jail. Easter told deputies Glover and Dubose attacked him.

Glover told deputies Easter attacked him first and he was defending himself. He said Dubose was not involved in the fight. Dubose did not cooperate with authorities in the investigation.

Perry Hudson, Glover's attorney, said he can't comment on the assault but is scheduled to meet with Glover on Friday to discuss the incident. Dubose's attorney did not return a call seeking comment. has disabled the comments for this article.
