Man chases rape suspect in Oklahoma City's Bricktown

Oklahoma City resident Ryan Farris talks about what he did when he saw a half-naked woman crying for help and a man bolting in the opposite direction.

Farris said he helped identify the man as the person he saw run from the scene.

“I just hope she presses charges and that was the right guy,” he said.

Since the original reports of his role in the arrest, Farris’ friends and family have expressed thankful support through social media. Farris, owner of three Mattress King stores in the state, said he just did what anyone else would have if put in a similar situation.

“I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal,” Farris said. “I just ran after the dude.”
