Man dead, home ransacked in northeast Oklahoma City

A 46-year-old man was found dead Sunday morning and his northeast Oklahoma City home was ransacked, Oklahoma City police said.

An Oklahoma City woman called police Sunday morning after she found her father dead and his home ransacked.

Detective Scott Wilson said the death is being investigated as a homicide.

He said the woman called police about 10 a.m. and reported finding her father dead in the house at 11829 E Wilshire.

The 46-year-old man's name was not released.

Wilson said he does not know how the man was killed, and police did not issue any suspect information Sunday night. has disabled the comments for this article.
