Man dies after struck by vehicle in Tulsa

TULSA — A man was struck and killed by a car as he walked along Lewis Avenue near E 6th Street South, a Tulsa television station reported.

The accident occurred about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said a woman was driving south on Lewis when her vehicle veered left and hit a man who was walking. The vehicle then struck a utility pole.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a Tulsa hospital, police said.

The victim's name has not been released.
