Man dies after two-vehicle accident in eastern Oklahoma County

SPENCER — A man died here Friday night after a two-vehicle accident, authorities said.
About 8 p.m., Stanley D. Payne Jr., 24, was driving west on NE 63 near Lenox Avenue when an eastbound vehicle crossed the median and collided head-on with Payne's vehicle, Oklahoma City police Lt. Ron Bacy said.

Payne died at the scene.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was flown to a local hospital in critical condition, Bacy said.
