Man dies in Tecumseh house fire

A resident died in Monday morning house fire, Tecumseh police reported.

— One man died in a house fire Monday morning, police reported.

Martin King, 44, was found dead inside the home after firefighters put out the blaze at 301 W Washington, police officer Jesse McCord said.

Firefighters were called to the scene about 11 a.m. Monday and were able to extinguish the fire 30 minutes later, McCord said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
