About 4:20 p.m., Ethan Scott Giett, 23, was driving west in the eastbound lanes of the turnpike, about three miles west of Vinita in Craig County, when the vehicle struck the rear tire of a tractor-trailer on the rig's driver's side, went out of control and rolled down the embankment, according to a patrol report.
