Man flashes gun, steals iPad at northwest Oklahoma City store

Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who robbed a store clerk at gunpoint on April 9.

Oklahoma City police released video Wednesday of a robber who flashed a gun at a GameStop cashier before making off with an iPad.

The robbery occurred about 11:40 a.m. April 9 at the GameStop at 8531 N Rockwell Ave., according to the police report.

In surveillance footage, a white male in a ball cap and a light-colored jacket approached a clerk and showed interest in an iPad. During the exchange, he pulled out a weapon, grabbed the item and ran out of the store, Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said. He fled in a black pickup.

Wardlow asked anyone with information about the crime or the robber to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
