The Oklahoma County sheriff's warrant team and U.S. marshals arrested a man Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting last month in Oklahoma City.

Jeffrey Ramirez, 28, was arrested on a murder complaint in the shooting death of former U.S. Grant High School student Homero Macias, 17.

Macias was found dead July 16 at the Portland House Apartments' courtyard at 3901 S Portland Ave.

Law officers said they found Ramirez about 4 p.m. Wednesday, hiding inside the attic of a house at 1300 SW 38.
