A man was arrested after he broke into a house and fondled a 10-year-old girl while her family was asleep, Oklahoma City police reported Thursday.
J.D. Wallace Jr., 34, was arrested Wednesday on complaints of burglary, lewd acts with a child under 16 and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Police responded to a call about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday after the victim's mother found Wallace lying down with her two daughters, according to the incident report.
The victim told police Wallace touched her on her thigh and put his hand under her shorts while lying on the pallet where she and her sister sleep in her mother's bedroom.
The mother said her sister and Wallace lived in her house 10 months ago, but she kicked both of them out because they were using the drug PCP and she did not want that around her four children.
Police said they found Wallace in the area of NW 25 and May Avenue, where he threw a bag of pills on the ground before they arrested him.
According to the report, Wallace was convicted of leaving the scene of an injury accident in 2000 in Oklahoma County.
