An admitted drug offender who is on probation assaulted three escorts with a hatchet Jan. 9 at his Warr Acres house after a night of cocaine use, prosecutors and police allege.

Justin Thomas Loy, 30, then kidnapped a stepbrother and fled south, police allege. He turned himself in Jan. 10 in Ardmore.

"My roommate just flipped out,” a blood-covered witness said Jan. 9 after struggling with Loy, police reported.

Loy has been charged in Oklahoma County District Court with three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. Loy also is charged with one count of kidnapping, records show.

The three victims from the escort service were treated at a hospital for severe injuries, police reported. They have been arrested in the past on prostitution complaints, records show.

The attack began after a dispute over money, authorities said. The escorts had charged about $500, police reported.

The witness, Jared McCuistion, 32, told police he fought with Loy after seeing Loy had cornered a woman in the bathroom and was standing over her and striking her multiple times with the hatchet, police reported.

Loy is being held in the Oklahoma County jail. He pleaded guilty in 2005 to methamphetamine and Valium possession and was put on probation for five years.

He was discharged from the U.S. Navy in 2003 after testing positive for cocaine, his court records show.
