Authorities charged Christopher Lee Ward, 28, with first-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Jennifer Renee Schultz, a student at Seminole State College who died from fire-related injuries a week after the trailer exploded.

A warrant for Ward's arrest was issued Monday.

Investigators have said a methamphetamine lab in the trailer exploded while Schultz, Ward and two other people were inside. A 16-year-old student at Little Axe High School, Daniel Isaac Long, also died from injuries he suffered from the explosion.

Ward and the other person in the trailer, Christy Tiger, were injured but survived, authorities said. Ward suffered second-degree burns over 18½ percent of his body.
