A man critically injured in a northwest Oklahoma City shooting Saturday is expected to survive his injuries, police said Monday.

Officers responded to the shooting about 7 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Beauty World Beauty Supply, 5029 NW 10.

The man, identified as Davian Carter, 27, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police said he has improved and is medically stable.

According to the police report, Carter was standing outside the business talking to a female when someone shot at him.
