EDMOND — An Edmond man arrested on a complaint of making threats to employees at First Presbyterian Church remained in the Oklahoma County jail Tuesday on $21,000 bail.
Michael Seockjin Moon, 18, was booked into jail on a complaint of assault with intent to kill. Charges were pending Tuesday.
Moon is accused of going to the church at 1001 S Rankin St. and telling employees they were going to hell and that he was going to kill them one by one, according to an Edmond police report released Tuesday.
One of the victims said the man made stabbing motions into his chest and said he was not going to kill them literally, but figuratively, the report stated. He then said he was not Jesus Christ, but was acting for Jesus Christ.
The man described the church as being evil and full of sinners and said he would kill them all, police reported. He said he had been institutionalized and they had been forcing pills down his throat and poisoning him, the report states.
“He told them he was dying inside each day so he could come back and kill them all for their sins,” according to the report.
