Oklahoma City man is sentenced to life in 2008 robbery death

An Oklahoma City man agreed Friday to serve a life sentence in prison for fatally shooting a college student he chose at random to rob.

Aaron Anthony Hopkins , 31, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and to robbery by fear. His punishment was the outcome of a deal his defense attorney reached with Oklahoma County prosecutors.
