Man is stabbed three times in apartment parking lot; Oklahoma City police seek attacker

Oklahoma City police are searching for a man who hit and stabbed a man on Monday.

Police are looking for an assailant who stabbed a man three times in the chest Monday in the parking lot of an Oklahoma City apartment complex.

Brantley Carter, 25, of Oklahoma City, was in the parking lot at 127 W Interstate 240 Service Road, when a man walked up, hit him with the butt of a knife and began stabbing him, according to a police report.

Carter was stabbed three times before he was able to block the man and grab a pocket knife from his pocket. Carter told police he stabbed the man once in the neck, prompting him to run away.

Carter was taken to a Norman hospital in a private vehicle and was released Monday night.

The attacker is described as a black man, about 35 to 45 years old, 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds. Carter told police the attacker had graying hair and was missing his front teeth. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
