Man on missing Malaysia Airlines flight has Oklahoma ties

One of three American passengers on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 attended school in Oklahoma.

Philip Wood, 50, graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 1985 with a degree in computer science and was a member of Delta Gamma Sigma fraternity, university spokesman Josh Watson said.

Wood lived in Malaysia where he worked for IBM as an executive.

He was among 239 people aboard the flight that went missing Friday. The flight took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport toward Beijing and vanished shortly after without making any distress calls.
