One man died in a motorcycle wreck Sunday, and another died last week from injuries he suffered in a Sept. 12 wreck, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.

Robert Green, 76, Westville

About 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Green was riding a motorcycle on U.S. 59 about two miles south of Watts when it struck a horse in the middle of the road, troopers said.

Green, who was wearing a helmet, died at a hospital in Siloam Springs, Ark., troopers said.

Mark Gholston, 59, Elk City

About 2 p.m. Sept. 12, Gholston was involved in a wreck on State Highway 44, half a mile south of State Highway 73 in Custer County, troopers said.

He was driving his pickup north on State Highway 44 when it ran off the road and overturned in a ditch.

Gholston, who was not wearing a seat belt, died Friday at a hospital in Oklahoma City, troopers said.
