A man on a motorized scooter was injured Tuesday afternoon after a collision with a school bus, Oklahoma City police said.

Police responded to the accident about 4 p.m. at 5501 N Portland Ave.

Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman Lara O'Leary said the man, believed to be 55 to 60 years old, is in serious condition at OU Medical Center. There were three people on the bus who were not injured; one driver and two students, ages 16 and 18.
