Man pleads guilty to neglect after infant son found dead in Sand Springs

A man who was arrested after his infant son was found dead at a Sand Springs house pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of child neglect.

One neglect count against Jobe Lee Jones involved the 6-month-old baby who died, but the charge did not allege that any conduct by Jones, 20, caused the infant's death.

A medical examiner ruled that the death of Daethe Anthony Ray Jones was "sudden unexplained infant death," Tulsa County District Judge Kurt Glassco said.
