Man robs Stillwater bank with hunting knife

STILLWATER — Police and federal agents are looking for a man who robbed a local bank with a hunting knife this morning.

The IBC Bank at 1900 N. Perkins Road was targeted at about 9:48 a.m., when a young, white man came into the bank armed with a knife and demanding money, according to FBI Agent Gary Johnson.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the man left the bank and drove away in what authorities believe to be an older model white Ford Taurus.

The robber was described as a white male, in his 20s, between 5-feet-6-inches and 5-feet-9-inches tall with a slender build and a couple days of facial hair growth. He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, a maroon colored light coat and jeans.

Anyone with is asked to call the FBI at 405-290-7770 or the Stillwater Police Department at 405-372-0025.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for information leading to arrest and prosecution.
