Man sentenced to life in fatal Oklahoma crash

A previously convicted felon was sentenced to life in prison Monday in a manslaughter case linked to a fatal crash that killed a Tulsa doctor in 2009.

Scott Q. Lewallen, now 42, pleaded guilty in November to first-degree manslaughter and driving under a revoked license.

Tulsa Coun Disrict District Judge Bill Musseman sentenced the defendant to a life prison term that requires Lewallen to serve about 38 years behind bars before being eligible for parole or release.
