Man shot in back as car passenger twirls gun Published: September 25, 2013

JAY -- Investigators think what originally was reported as a robbery actually may have been a little horseplay which ended with one man being shot in the back.

In a story in the McAlester News-Capital, CNHI News Service reports that a man was twirling a small handgun in the backseat of a car when it fired, striking a man in the front seat.

There were two couples in the car at the time and the man and woman in the front seat told authorities two stories about what happened.
