A man was shot in the 6500 block of W Wilshire late Monday morning, Oklahoma City police said.

Kevin Johnson, 34, told police an unidentified man walked up to him and asked to borrow a lighter before pulling out a gun and shooting him in the leg at around 11:15 a.m.

Johnson was taken to OU Medical Center and arrested on an outstanding warrant in connection with a burglary complaint, Oklahoma City Police Department spokesman Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. No suspects are in custody in connection with the shooting, and no motive has been established, police said.
