One man was shot in the leg early Wednesday morning after multiple altercations ended with gunfire in northwest Oklahoma City, local police report.
An initial incident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. An unknown black male approached a man and woman sitting in their car in a driveway of a residence near NW 32 and N Drexel Boulevard, Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.
The unidentified male shot four rounds into the victims’ vehicle; no one was injured, Wardlow said.
The couple chose not to call police after this shooting but police were notified about three hours later at 12:30 a.m. after another shooting took place at the same home. This time a man was hit in the right thigh by one of two rounds shot by the unknown male from the previous shooting, Wardlow said.
The victims said they didn’t appear to know the shooter, she said.
The gunshot victim was transported to the OU Medical Center with injuries that were not considered lief-threatening, police said.
