Man sought in southwest Oklahoma City bank robbery

A man approached the teller counter Tuesday afternoon at First Fidelity Bank, 700 SW 29, with a note demanding money, Special Agent Rick Rains said.

A bank was robbed Tuesday afternoon in southwest Oklahoma City, and FBI agents are searching for the robber.

No one was hurt in the robbery and no weapon was used.

About 4 p.m., a man approached the teller counter at First Fidelity Bank, 700 SW 29, with a note demanding money. The cash was placed in a bank envelope and the man left westbound on foot, Special Agent Rick Rains said.

The robber is described as a man in his 40s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and black hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a black New Orleans Saints T-shirt and a black Houston Astros baseball cap with orange bill and lettering, Rains said.

Anyone with information is requested to call the FBI at 290-7770.
