Man suspected of ambulance theft, DUI arrested in Tulsa

A man was arrested early Monday after he allegedly attempted to steal an EMSA ambulance and then crashed it into a parked car at a Tulsa apartment complex.

A man was arrested early Monday after he allegedly attempted to steal an EMSA ambulance and then crashed it into a parked car at a Tulsa apartment complex.

Ryan Mitchell Pugh, 24, is being held on complaints of larceny of an automobile and driving under the influence of alcohol, jail records show.

He was arrested around 4 a.m. after a medic who had responded to a medical call at the Bristol Park Apartments, 4414 S. Garnett Road, saw Pugh driving the ambulance “back and forth” in the parking lot, according to Pugh’s arrest report.
