Man to be sentenced in cruelty case
MEDFORD -- A Wakita man will be formally sentenced Sept. 23 after entering a blind plea to seven felony and two misdemeanor counts.
George Wesley Gilchrist was set to stand trial in Grant County District Court on Monday on seven counts of cruelty to animals and two counts of leaving a carcass in a well, spring, pond or stream.
