Larry Swilling's one-man mission to get a kidney for his wife has finally paid off, according to a South Carolina Fox affiliate.

The station reports Swilling had been walking Upstate streets last year, with a sign asking for a kidney for his wife. The story made headlines the world over, showing Swilling's devotion to his wife, Jimmie Sue.

The wait now appears to be over, as the Swillings said The Medical University of South Carolina have found a donor, according to
