Man with AIDS arrested for biting medical technician Published: July 26, 2014

A man is at the Tulsa Jail Saturday on a complaint of knowingly spreading AIDS to a St. John Medical Center employee Friday night, Tulsa World reports.

Tulsa police officers responded to an assault complaint at St. John around 10:20 p.m. Friday, where medical personnel alleged Darin Bunch, 40, was abusive toward a medical technician who tried to prevent him from pulling out his heart monitor. Bunch, who has acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or AIDS, bit the woman on the right forearm while she reached over him to check a tube, according to a booking report.
