Man, woman rob bank in Edmond

IBC Bank, 1812 E 15th, in Edmond, was robbed Friday afternoon

The FBI and Edmond police are searching for a man and a woman who robbed a bank Friday in Edmond.

About 2:30 p.m. a white woman and black man entered IBC Bank, 1812 E 15th Street. The woman approached the teller and gave her a note demanding money and claiming the two had multiple guns.

The teller complied and gave the woman an undisclosed amount of money. They were last seen heading east on E 15th Street.

The woman is described as being in her mid- to late 20s, blonde, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds and wearing a black leather jacket.

The man is described as being in his 40s or 50s, about 6 feet tall, with black hair with graying spots.

The FBI asks anyone with information about the robbery to call 290-7770. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of anyone robbing a member bank. has disabled the comments for this article.
