YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — Hundreds of Eastern Michigan University students held a march, rally and candlelight vigil Thursday for slain football player Demarius Reed.

"We are really sick of it, so now we're just trying to take action" march participant Brandon Britt, a junior, told WDIV-TV. said
Eastern Michigan University President Susan Martin said that representatives from the university, Ypsilanti police and Washtenaw County sheriff's department will use joint patrols to increase off-campus safety.
