Marcus Garvey Charter School holds fundraiser

The Marcus Garvey Leadership Charter School in Edmond will hold a Flapjack Fundraiser Saturday to raise money for a trip to West Africa in June.

EDMOND — The Marcus Garvey Leadership Charter School will hold a Flapjack Fundraiser from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Applebee's, 3521 S Broadway Extension.

The event will raise funds for leadership class students who will tour Senegal and Gambia in West Africa in June. Tickets are $7 each for all-you-can-eat pancakes.
