It's no secret that Marcus Smart is one of the top 10 prospects in Thursday's NBA Draft. He'll definitely be a part of the draft day festivities, as reports claim Smart is one of 20 invitees to the green room for draft night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Smart is currently projected as a lottery selection, but will be joined by more than a few of his colleagues in the green room. Last year, only 13 players were invited, but the depth of this year's draft -- along with the absence of projected No. 1 pick Joel Embiid, who underwent surgery and has opted out of attending the draft -- has prompted the NBA to bring more guests.
The list of green room invitees (according to SI.com's Ben Golliver): Tyler Ennis (Syracuse), Dante Exum (Australia), Aaron Gordon (Arizona), Gary Harris (Michigan State), Rodney Hood (Duke), Zach LaVine (UCLA), Doug McDermott (Creighton), Shabazz Napier (Connecticut), Jusuf Nurkic (Bosnia), Jabari Parker (Duke), Adreian Payne (Michigan State), Elfrid Payton (Louisiana-Lafayette), Julius Randle (Kentucky), Dario Saric (Croatia), Marcus Smart (Oklahoma State), Nik Stauskas (Michigan), Noah Vonleh (Indiana), TJ Warren (North Carolina State), Andrew Wiggins (Kansas), James Young (Kentucky).
