Marcus Smart left off the Big 12 ballot by at least one writer

Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart was one of few players to receive All-Big 12 First Team and All-Big 12 Defensive Team honors from the coaches on Sunday.

And Smart picked up more honors Monday, as The Associated Press voted him a First Team All-Big 12 selection as well. Well, at least most of the media.

Wichita Eagle and Kansas City Star writer Kellis Robinett admitted on Twitter that he left Smart off his ballot entirely when it came down to voting.

When asked why, he explains that, too.
