Former Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart has been selected as one of the athletes to appear on a live Google+ Hangout at the NBA Draft.
Follow his selection, Smart, widely projected to be a top 10 pick in Thursday’s draft, will speak with fans live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Beginning at 6 p.m. on ESPN, top prospects including Smart, Andrew Wiggins (Kansas), Jabari Parker (Duke), Dante Exum (Australia), Aaron Gordon (Arizona) and others will answer fans’ questions online.
Fans hoping to have one of the draft prospects join their Hangout during the NBA Draft are encouraged to share their Hangout link using hashtags #NBADraftCrash or #TEAMNAMEDraftCrash. Hangouts can be created at www.nba.com/draftcrash and www.plus.google.com/hangouts.
Following the event, fans will be able to view highlights of the NBA Draft Hangouts on nba.com, the NBA’s YouTube channel, Twitter, Facebook and the NBA’s Google+ page.
