TAHLEQUAH Ex-patrolman's charges dropped

Misdemeanor charges against a former Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper were dismissed, a Cherokee County prosecutor said Thursday in Tahlequah.

Dennis Dancer was charged in August 2003 with operating a boat while intoxicated and possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol, both misdemeanors.
