MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) — A meet and greet event for Marines who fought in three wars is being held at the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum in Mount Pleasant.
The museum announced that Wednesday's event is being held in conjunction with the 1st Marine Division Association aboard the USS Yorktown. The event is for Marines who fought in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
It's free for members of the Marine Corps League and the Lowcountry Leathernecks Association. For museum visitors, the event is included in the regular museum admission price.
