Who knew? Yoshi, the trusty dinosaur pal of Nintendo’s heroic plumber Mario, has a (rather formal-sounding) full name, and it’s been on the official Nintendo books for over twenty years, according to Plugged In.

The guide, which was not intended for public consumption, reveals various biographical details about the major characters from the Mario franchise.
