DETROIT (AP) — Families can test their maritime skills at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle as the Navy Week celebration in Detroit nears its close.

Labeling Great Lakes ports, completing signal flag worksheets and rope tying will be featured from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the museum.

Special guided tours also will be offered.

U.S. military veterans and their families will receive free admission as the museum celebrates Navy Veterans' Day. A special flag-raising ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Navy Week is designed to highlight the investment Americans have made in their armed forces. It ends Monday.
