A Marlow man was arrested Friday while trying to meet with a 15-year-old girl who does not exist, a spokesman for the Canadian County sheriff’s office said.
Deputies arrested Dustin Crump, 27, Friday afternoon on a complaint of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor through use of technology.
Undersheriff Chris West said an undercover deputy posed as a 15-year-old on Facebook and met Crump and began to exchange text messages with him.
During these exchanges, Crump sent sexually explicit photos of himself, West said.
Authorities said that Friday, Crump expected to meet the girl at an undisclosed location in Canadian County, but was instead arrested by deputies.
He was booked into Canadian County jail and remains there in lieu of $50,000 bail.
