Have to wonder who initiated the move. Was it Adams or was it Coach Ford? Sounds like it could like the resignation of people at work..... without notice. Good to see that Coach Ford is keeping the team together.

I am the real Jacob, an OSU grad. Don't let a loser OU poser who copies my name get to you. Ignore any comments that are negative about OSU from me. Once they learn that OU cheats and they themselves are trash, they will stop copying me. Until then, let them continue...and copy my name in 3, 2, 1....

real classy steve and jacob, real classy! anyway, for us who care about our ALMA MATER, we have already replaced him with a JUCO forward by the name of Malcoln Kirkland. He is transferring from he university of arkansas- fort smith and will be a sophomore.

Barry and Patrick, I am so tired of rooting for something that will never be, no matter how much money they spend, so why dont the two of you come with me and Danny from Smyrna and have some man time if you know what I mean, you know like we used to do it.

and besides, the kid escaped from the craphole that is the Oklahoma State University basketball program, good luck to him, maybe he can have a chance to get to play for a real program.

He is an aggie, who cares? In fact, if the entire aggie athletic program transfered, who would care?

I didn't know anything about him...is he going to be missed much? I know he might not fit Ford's system, but is he one of those guys you wanted to keep around anyways?

I liked Martavius' attitude. He was hard-nosed and you could tell he wanted to win. He was just a freshman, so he was on a learning curve. I thought he had a lot of upside. I hope he finds a good home.

Thanks, Patrick. Too many faces to keep track of some times. Even though they were average at best, spot players, it does create a depth concern with Cooper leaving last year and now Adams.

Orton is the younger brother of Terrance Crawford (former player)

Barry-I think you may be thinking of a different recruit. John Wall, the big-time PG recruit from North Carolina, is the one that is good friends with Marshall Moses. Not aware of anyone on the current team that is close with Orton. You are right about Adams having to be pulled from a couple of games, notably in the first Bedlam game for yanking one of OU's players down. I agree, I don't think he was a great fit for Ford's system as he doesn't run the floor that well. But, we are going to be severely lacking any real size in the middle.

Is this not the kid who played so physically in several games he had to be set down to cool his jets? Also, is this the kid who is friends with Daniel Orton or is that Marshall Moses? He either could not keep up with the pace of the new schemes or his prognosticated playing time did not fit his liking. Anyone know any more details?

Adams was not a good fit for the Ford system of baseline to baseline intensity. Jacob is correct about his inconsistent attitude and his lack of work ethic. He will be more at home with a team in a less competitive conference and a half-court philosophy.

From going to games last season, you could tell he had attitude problems. Good luck to him, but Coach Ford will find a harder working player for his system.
