Mass. gas prices inch up a penny

BOSTON (AP) — The cost of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts has inched up by a penny in the past week.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve, regular is up to $3.41 per gallon, 12 cents above the national average.

The current price is still 13 cents lower than a month ago, but 12 cents higher than this time last year.

AAA found self-serve, regular as low as $3.24 per gallon and as high as $3.75.
