Mass. gas prices tumbles 7 cents per gallon

BOSTON (AP) — Gas prices in Massachusetts have tumbled seven cents per gallon in the past week, yet remain above the national average.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular has fallen to $3.83.

That's still a dime higher than a month ago, 28 cents higher than at the same time last year, and three cents per gallon above the current national average.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling as low as $3.57 and as high as $3.99 per gallon.
