Matthew McConaughey Dishes on His 40th Birthday Bash

Matthew McConaughey turned 40 on Wednesday, and he says he celebrated by partying all night long.

“The 30’s were good to me and I’m really looking forward to my 40’s, ‘cause I'm a late bloomer,” the star writes on his Celebrity MySpace page. “Got everything I need for a perfect 40th … a happy and healthy lady, son, and another baby on the way.”

McConaughey says he celebrated with family and close friends on Tuesday night, and they even enjoyed a surprise performance by one of his favorite country musicians, Jamey Johnson.
