DALLAS (AP) — Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says he has two herniated discs in his lower back and likely will need surgery.

The 55-year-old Cuban talked Thursday about the injury following a stair-climbing workout in the Mavericks' locker room.

He says his back has been sore and he has had "shooting pains up his legs."
