In its eighth year, The Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference continues to draw some of the top writers, photojournalists, videographers and radio talents. Keynote speakers this year are:

Luis Alberto Urrea, a 2005 Pulitzer Prize finalist for nonfiction and the author of 14 books, including “The Devil's Highway,” “The Hummingbird's Daughter” and “Queen of America.”
Richard Rhodes, Pulitzer Prize winning author of “The Making of the Atomic Bomb.” Rhodes is writer or editor of 26 fiction, history and memoir books.
Isabel Wilkerson, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and the author of The New York Times best-seller “The Warmth of Other Suns.”
Other speakers include Roy Peter Clark, author and editor of 16 books; Thomas Lake, senior writer for Sports Illustrated; Pulitzer Prize winners Dale Maharidge and Michael Williamson; and Alisa Valdes, best-selling author of “The Dirty Girls Social Club;” among many others.
