ABC has assigned its top Saturday afternoon crew of Nessler, Bob Griese, Paul Maguire and Stacey Dales to the No. 7 Oklahoma State at No. 1 Texas game, which will go to 44 percent of the country.
"If this one lives up to the billing, it could be as much fun as we’ve had all year,” Nessler said. "Sometimes they don’t. This is the best Oklahoma State team I can remember seeing.”
Nessler, 52, who lives in Atlanta, said he is excited about the match-up of top quarterbacks, Colt McCoy of Texas and Zac Robinson of OSU, in the quarterback-rich Big 12.
