Media notebook: NCAA Tournament ratings up

Turner Sports and CBS Sports’ second-round coverage of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament — across TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV — was the the most-viewed first Thursday of the tournament in 23 years.

*The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Brazil for a 6 p.m. Sunday fight card on Fox Sports 1, headlined by a five-round light heavyweight rematch of former UFC light heavyweight champion and No. 7-ranked Shogun Rua (22-8) vs. former Strikeforce champion and No. 8-ranked Dan Henderson (29-11).

*To accommodate NCAA tournament coverage, TNT has moved its doubleheader next week to Tuesday night. The Thunder plays at Dallas at 7 p.m. (Dick Stockton, Mike Fratello and reporter David Aldridge), and the Lakers host New York at 9:30 p.m. (Kevin Harlan, Steve Smith and reporter Ric Bucher).
